Dubai: Falcon has announced a significant investment of USD 100 million to enhance its facilities at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. The company’s 13,705 square meter aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility is situated at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub. It is equipped with advanced technology to service a wide range of aircraft, including large models such as the Airbus A380.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has granted Falcon CAR 145 approval to launch its maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations in the UAE starting in 2024. Falcon has also received the GCAA CAR PART V Chapter 3 (CAR 145) certificate, recognizing it as an Approved Maintenance Organisation. The facility will cater to various aircraft types, including Bombardier Challenger and Embraer models.
