Accra:Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil has advised media practitioners to always prioritize accuracy and fairness in their reporting, especially concerning issues related to someone's reputation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized that in the rush to publish stories quickly, journalists must not abandon the principles of fair reporting. This includes seeking clarification from all parties involved.

He noted that when the focus is solely on being the first to publish, there is a risk of neglecting essential elements such as context, accuracy, and fairness for all parties.
