Fahmi Fadzil Expresses Condolences to Family of Late PKR Leader Abas Awang

Kuala lumpur: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has conveyed his condolences to the family of Pahang PKR leader Abas Awang, who passed away yesterday. Fahmi expressed his sentiments through a Facebook post, highlighting the late leader's enduring contributions and service to both the party and the community.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Abas Awang died at his residence in Section 4, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. He was a notable figure within the PKR, having served as the PKR candidate for the Bera parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election. Abas also led the PKR Education Bureau for approximately ten years, a testament to his commitment and leadership within the party.

In his message, Fahmi extended his condolences to Abas's family, wishing them strength and resilience during this challenging time. He expressed hope that their affairs would be made easy in the days ahead, honoring the legacy of Abas Awang's dedication to his political commitments and community efforts.
