Kuala lumpur: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today extended his wishes for World Radio Day 2026, observed annually on Feb 13. In a post on X, Fahmi thanked the radio fraternity for ensuring effective communication, delivering accurate and useful information, and providing quality entertainment.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi expressed hope that radio continues to serve as a trusted platform that brings communities together and fosters greater understanding and harmony. He also shared a Communications Ministry poster in conjunction with this year's theme, 'Radio and Artificial Intelligence (AI)'.
