Kuantan: The Pahang government today launched the Pahang People's Aid Management System (e-Rakyat), a one-stop platform designed to manage and coordinate people's aid in a more structured, integrated, and effective manner. Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail stated that the system aligns with the state administration's direction, which emphasizes efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in service delivery to the people.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, e-Rakyat enables the state government to build, collect, and coordinate aid data across departments and agencies, thereby preventing duplication of recipients and reducing wastage of public funds. "The main objective of implementing this system is to ensure that every form of aid reaches those who are truly deserving, is channeled in a timely manner, and is based on the real needs of the people," Wan Rosdy said in a statement.
The system was launched during the Pahang Menteri Besar's gathering with Civil Servants at the Kuantan City Complex Hall. Wan Rosdy noted that the first phase of the system's implementation involves the registration of heads of households and household members, as well as a review of existing aid recipients, particularly those under the Pahang Makmur Initiative.
"The second phase will involve online aid applications, scheduled to begin in April 2026, before being expanded to include state and federal government assistance," he added. The people of Pahang can register for the system via the erakyat.pahang.gov.my portal.
