Kuala lumpur: Pergerakan Puteri Islam Malaysia (PPIM) president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail attended a get-together with 395 participants of the National Level Nature Camp 2026 programme at the National Planetarium here today. Dr Wan Azizah, who is also the Prime Minister's wife, arrived at the National Planetarium lobby at 1.17 pm, where she mingled with participants before signing the visitors' book.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event was also attended by several notable figures including the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation deputy secretary-general (Planning and Enculturation of Science), Datuk Ruziah Shafei, PPIM honorary secretary Aizar Mohd Jaman, National Planetarium director Mohd Zamri Shah Mastor, as well as national and state PPIM leaders.
Meanwhile, Aizar Mohd Jaman highlighted that the camp, held biannually, emphasized the integration of environmental elements, the Quran, and life skills to shape students' identity. She noted that the programme aligns with the PPIM curriculum, which covers eight areas: spirituality, skills, environment, camping, management and administration, health, and personal development.
The PPIM National Level Nature Camp 2026 took place from June 18 to 20 at Laman Puteri, Kompleks Darul Puteri, Jalan Cheras in Kuala Lumpur. The closing ceremony was conducted at the National Planetarium as part of a science and astronomy educational visit by the participants.
