Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has extended his condolences to the family of Paya Besar UMNO division vice chief Datuk Umar Arbain, who passed away last night. In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid, who is also the UMNO president, acknowledged Umar's passing as a significant loss to the Paya Besar UMNO division and the broader UMNO community in Pahang.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid described the deceased as a dedicated party leader who maintained a close connection with the community throughout his service. He expressed that the entire UMNO leadership joins him in offering condolences to both the family of the deceased and the Paya Besar UMNO family, acknowledging the impact of this loss.

Ahmad Zahid also shared his prayers, hoping that Allah SWT forgives all of Umar Arbain's sins, accepts his good deeds, and grants him a place among the faithful.
