DPM Ahmad Zahid Calls for National Day Celebrations to Honor Athletes and Artists

Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called on Malaysians to celebrate the 68th National Day by recognizing and appreciating the contributions of athletes and artists who elevate the nation’s status on the global stage.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Ahmad Zahid emphasized that athletes and artists serve as symbols of patriotism, embodying bravery, determination, and unwavering love for Malaysia. He highlighted that their fighting spirit is a true reflection of independence, showcasing unity in diversity and a collective effort to honor the nation.

Dr Ahmad Zahid expressed that every cheer in stadiums, each artistic creation, and the united hearts of the people reveal the genuine meaning of independence. He urged Malaysians to continue demonstrating their love for the country during the National Month, with a commitment to building a more progressive, resilient, and respected Malaysia MADANI on the world stage. He concluded his message with a resounding call of “Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!” on Facebook.
