Kuala lumpur: Dagang NeXchange Bhd’s (DNeX) unit, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract extension from the government for the National Single Window (NSW) for trade facilitation, underscoring continued confidence in the group’s digital trade infrastructure capabilities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the global technology company stated that the extension covers one year from September 1, 2025, with the option for a further one-year renewal, subject to a performance review, current needs, and mutual agreement. DNeX highlighted that the NSW for trade facilitation remains a significant contributor to the group’s revenue, accounting for about eight percent of its top line.
Faizal Sham Abu Mansor, the group’s chief executive officer, remarked that the contract extension is a strong testament to the group’s expertise and ability to deliver innovative and efficient trade facilitation solutions. He emphasized the group’s commitment to exceeding clients’ expectations by delivering e-services that empower businesses to optimize their operations and drive growth.
With over 15 years of proven experience in building and maintaining this mission-critical system, Faizal Sham noted that the group has demonstrated its capability and reliability. He stated that the company is now poised to leverage its established track record to expand offerings into other countries. Faizal Sham also mentioned that the company’s e-services are developed, managed, and maintained by a dedicated team of local talents, consistently meeting service level agreements and availability targets.
Additionally, he highlighted the company’s expanding portfolio, which goes beyond the NSW, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of Phase 1 of the Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW). The MMSW is a centralized platform designed to facilitate end-to-end information flow, serving as a one-stop portal with single sign-on and single submission capabilities for maritime regulatory and port services transactions nationwide.
Under the renewed contract, DNeX will continue to deliver six essential e-services under the NSW: eDeclare, eManifest, ePCO, ePermit, ePermitSTA, and ePayment. The company stated that these services are instrumental in optimizing trade flows by providing a digital platform for seamless interactions among the trading community, customs, and related agencies.
