Kuala lumpur: The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will witness an increase of four sen, reaching RM2.96 per litre, while in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, the price will remain constant at RM2.15 per litre for the period from February 5 to 11.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Finance announced that the retail prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol will remain steady at RM3.10 and RM2.54 per litre, respectively, during the same timeframe. Additionally, the subsidised RON95 petrol price, maintained under the BUDI95 initiative, will continue to be priced at RM1.99 per litre.
The Ministry highlighted its commitment to keeping a close watch on global crude oil price trends, ensuring that suitable actions are taken to protect the welfare and well-being of the populace.
