Kuala lumpur: The Corruption Perception Index (CPI) Special Task Force, through its Enforcement Focus Group (FG), is developing an action plan to strengthen integrity and improve enforcement efficiency in efforts to boost Malaysia’s CPI ranking and score. The Enforcement FG Action Plan for 2026 outlines key strategies, initiatives, and priority actions that focus on reinforcing integrity, transparency, accountability, and the efficiency of enforcement operations.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission chief executive officer Asliza Ali stated that the action plan emphasizes a data-driven, integrated approach to enforcement reforms. This approach aligns with the government’s commitment to strengthening good governance and restoring public confidence in enforcement institutions.
Asliza, who also leads the Enforcement FG, mentioned this in a statement in conjunction with a two-day FG Action Plan Workshop, which began yesterday. She noted that the workshop aimed to refine the framework and proposed initiatives that will be finalized for implementation.
The workshop brought together senior officers from 12 agencies, including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Eastern Sabah Security Command, the Royal Malaysia Police, the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency, and the Registrar of Societies.
