Nur Mohd Azriyn-Wee Kiong, meanwhile, failed to survive a 66-minute duel against last year's runners-up and fourth seeds from India, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty, falling 16-21, 21-18, 11-21. Malaysia's hopes now rest on professional mixed doubles duo Hoo Pang Ron-Lai Pei Jing, who will feature in their maiden World Tour final tomorrow. Pang Ron-Pei Jing, who began their partnership in March, will face top seeds Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping of China in the title decider. Earlier today, the unseeded world No. 85 pair book ed their place in the final after stunning China's world No. 28 combination Zhu Yi Jun-Li Qian 21-12, 21-10. Yan Zhe-Dong Ping, on the other hand, ousted another Malaysian professional pair, Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie, 21-11, 24-22, in the other semi-final.
