Continuous Rainfall Forecasted in Five Malaysian States Until Tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: Continuous rainfall is anticipated to impact five Malaysian states until tomorrow, as reported by Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) director-general Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a weather warning was issued at 12:30 p.m., highlighting the areas expected to experience continuous rainfall. The advisory encompasses the entire state of Perlis and various regions in Kedah, such as Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Pendang, Sik, and Baling. The alert also extends to Hulu Perak in Perak.

The warning further includes several areas in Kelantan, notably Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai. In Terengganu, the regions of Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, and Kuala Terengganu are projected to be affected.
