Continuous Rain Warning Issued For Sarawak, Pahang, Johor, And Sabah

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for several areas in Sarawak until Thursday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia director-general Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip stated that the affected areas in Sarawak include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), and Bintulu.

The department has also released a similar alert-level continuous rain warning for regions in Pahang, Johor, and Sabah, effective from Thursday until Friday. In Pahang, the warning covers Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin. In Johor, the areas expected to experience similar weather conditions are Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru.

For Sabah, the affected regions include the west coast areas of Ranau and Kota Belud, along with Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan) and Kudat.
