Seremban: Three media centres will be opened for the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election from tomorrow until August 1 by the Communications Ministry through the Information Department and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Communications Ministry stated in a press release that the media facilities will be established at three locations: the Seremban Media Centre at Hotel Seri Malaysia, the Port Dickson Media Centre at Kampung Paya National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI), and the Kuala Pilah Media Centre at Kampung Gentam NADI.
The statement highlighted that media practitioners are invited to use the facilities and access information available at these media centres. Additionally, reporters covering the election from other areas can utilize facilities and internet access at 60 NADI centres throughout Negeri Sembilan, which have been designated as support media centres.
The statement also mentioned that MCMC will operate complaint counters at the media centres to monitor and coordinate any issues involving internet connectivity, telecommunications disruptions, and online content related to religion, race, and the royal institution issues, scams, and impersonation.
