CIMB Launches Malaysia’s First Transport-Related Debit Card Benefits Offering Cash Back for Tolls and Transits

Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Bank Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad have introduced Malaysia’s pioneering transport-related debit card benefits through the CIMB Visa Debit Card. This new offering provides users with a 20% cash back on both local and overseas tolls and transit-related activities, alongside a 30% discount for KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit travels.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the 20% cash back can be availed on various Malaysian public transport services such as passenger railways, including KTM, MRT, and LRT. It also extends to taxis, e-hailing services like Grab, and bus transportation through platforms like EasyBook and Redbus. Eligible highway tolls include DUKE, KESAS, LDP, and LEKAS, as well as bridge tolls for the Penang Bridges, the Johor-Singapore Causeway, and the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link. Additional transportation services, such as the Langkawi Cable Car, are also covered under this initiative.
