Putrajaya:Repair works are underway to restore power supply and train services on the Putrajaya Line following a cable theft incident near the Taman Equine MRT Station.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the disruption was caused by the theft, which led to a loss of power detected at 5.24 am today. In response, alternative train services and free shuttle buses have been made available to assist passengers. Rapid KL has deployed eight additional buses to facilitate movement.
The incident left a train stranded at the Taman Equine Station. Technical teams were quickly mobilized to inspect the area and carry out the necessary repairs to restore normal operations.
Rapid KL has advised passengers traveling to Sepang via the ERL from Putrajaya Sentral to consider alternative routes through the KL Sentral or Bandar Tasik Selatan ERL stations. Station staff and auxiliary police are on hand at stations and bus stops to manage passenger flow. Updates on the situation will be provided through Rapid KL's official social media channels.
