According to BERNAMA News Agency, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, in his speech at the engagement session, stressed that Budget 2027 must be utilised as an instrument to strengthen the country's healthcare system. He also said the approach was important to ensure that every allocation channelled to MOH truly delivers outcomes and impact for the people.

The ministry emphasized that every allocation must be outcome- and impact-oriented, rather than merely focusing on the amount of expenditure. Each proposal must clearly identify the problem to be addressed, the beneficiary groups, the intended changes, and the methods for measuring its effectiveness. This strategic approach aims to ensure that the resources allocated are used efficiently and generate tangible benefits for the people.
