Jakarta:The tabling of Budget 2027 is anticipated to further fortify the national economy, alleviate the cost-of-living burden on citizens, and ensure national peace and stability.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail stated that Budget 2027 is expected to continue the MADANI Government's efforts in enhancing economic prosperity and prioritizing the well-being of the population. He highlighted that previous MADANI Budgets had introduced various initiatives benefiting the people and fostering economic resilience, with Malaysia's economy showing a growth of 5.7 percent in the first half of 2026, despite global uncertainties.

The Home Ministry's role includes maintaining national peace, security, and stability by bolstering enforcement agencies' capabilities and supporting the welfare of personnel dedicated to public safety.

Additionally, National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang and Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo emphasized the significance of forward-looking budget planning in securing a sustainable future for Malaysia. Through posts on their respective X accounts, they underscored the necessity of shaping the country's future with planning rooted in the people's needs and national aspirations.

Budget 2027 focuses on strategies to reinforce the economy and enhance the overall well-being of the population. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to present Budget 2027 in the Dewan Rakyat at 3.30 pm today.
