Kuala lumpur: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has launched the Premium Savings Certificate (BSN SSP) Campaign 2026, aimed at strengthening the culture of saving by offering attractive rewards, as incentives to depositors and the general public.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, BSN chief executive officer, Datuk Jay Khairil, stated that the campaign runs from Jan 1 to Dec 31 this year, featuring total prizes worth RM28 million to be won by 16,000 depositors nationwide. The BSN SSP 2026 offers a more attractive prize structure, including the creation of 12 new millionaires - one each month - through the BSN SSP Millionaire Draw.

Jay Khairil highlighted that the millionaire winner announced in December 2026 will receive BSN SSP worth RM1 million and a Porsche Macan, subject to terms and conditions. Participation in the monthly millionaire draw requires minimum savings of RM3,000, maintained for 60 days, while eligibility for the December 2026 Millionaire Draw requires minimum savings of RM3,000, maintained for six months.

The campaign launch was also enlivened by the six-day BSN SSP Carnival 2026, held at Angsana Johor Bahru Mall from Dec 29, 2025, to Jan 4. The carnival featured various family-friendly activities, as well as interaction sessions with celebrities, Mierul Aiman, Nadhir Nasar, and Fadhli Masoot, with the winner of the 119th BSN SSP Millionaire Draw announced at the culmination of the event.

Meanwhile, throughout the year, the campaign offers various draw categories with bigger prizes, in addition to profit rates of up to 2.5 per cent per annum. Deposits as low as RM10 per depositor are eligible for one draw, via all BSN branches as well as digital channels, including myBSN, myBSN Mobile, ATMs, CDMs, and BSN CBB.
