Hulu selangor: The body of a man was found with hands and feet bound and head wrapped in cloth near a railway track in Sungai Serian, Kalumpang, Hulu Selangor today. Hulu Selangor Police chief Supt Ibrahim Husin stated that a member of the public discovered the body at about 10.30 am.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, preliminary investigations suggest that the body was dumped from the Kampung Sungai Serian bridge, which stands 11.15 metres high. Forensic investigations revealed that the victim’s hands and feet were tied, while his head was wrapped in cloth and secured with black and white adhesive tape.
Ibrahim noted that a physical examination by the forensics team indicated the man had been dead for over four days as the body had begun to decompose. No identification documents were found on the body. The body has been sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem, and the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
