Binastra Corporation Achieves 43% Revenue Growth in 1Q FY2026

Kuala Lumpur: Binastra Corporation Bhd’s revenue increased by 43 per cent to RM256.8 million in the first quarter ended April 30, 2025, compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year, marking a significant year-on-year growth. Net profit also rose by 38.9 per cent to RM25.1 million, largely attributed to strong performance in the company’s core construction segment.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng stated that Binastra is “operating at full capacity” as it aims for a record-breaking year, with a goal of securing RM4.0 billion in new contract wins for FY2026. The growth is anticipated to be fueled by ongoing projects in the Klang Valley and emerging opportunities in Johor Bahru. The company’s order book currently stands at approximately RM4.1 billion, encompassing 25 active projects.

During the quarter, Binastra announced its proposal to acquire LF Lansen, a company known for energy-efficient engineering solutions. This acquisition is expected to bolster Binastra’s credentials in environmental, social, and corporate governance, as well as enhance its technical expertise, especially in supporting data centre projects.

Additionally, Binastra established its renewable energy division, Binastra Green Energy Sdn Bhd, in February 2025. The company plans to partner with a leading local solar energy provider, which is anticipated to enable Binastra to manage comprehensive roles in renewable energy developments. This initiative aligns with the company’s long-term strategy to diversify into green infrastructure.
