London: Bidgely will hold its EmPOWER AI London conference from June 10 to 12 as part of its global event series focused on artificial intelligence (AI), electrification, and customer engagement in the energy sector.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the London conference forms part of Bidgely's broader EmPOWER AI tour spanning Toronto, New York, and London, bringing together energy retailers and industry stakeholders to discuss issues including load flexibility, energy affordability, and grid modernisation. Bidgely's chief executive officer, Abhay Gupta, noted that the energy transition would require 'bold action and intelligent data', highlighting that the conference aims to help industry participants explore how AI can support grid modernisation and customer engagement.
Bidgely will also release a joint report with LCP Delta titled "Home Asset Identification", which examines methods for identifying household energy assets such as heat pumps, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The report indicates that AI-driven data analytics can improve asset identification compared with statistical estimation methods or hardware-based monitoring approaches.
The conference will feature workshops focused on electrification, AI-enabled customer service operations, demand flexibility, and energy affordability. These workshops will include case studies on targeted EV programmes, call centre optimisation, and pricing strategies for high-energy-use customers. Bidgely stated that attendees will also preview new interactive voice response integrations with PolyAI, Genesys, and NICE, which are aimed at improving automated customer support for energy-related enquiries.
