Bidgely EmPOWER AI 2026 To Spotlight Scalable Utility AI

New york city: Bidgely's premier energy intelligence conference, EmPOWER AI, is set to take place from May 12 to 14 in New York City, bringing together utility leaders, energy researchers, and technology experts to focus on artificial intelligence (AI) advancements in the energy sector.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event is hosted by OGandE and aims to explore how utilities are progressing from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide deployment. Key industry players such as Alabama Power, Eversource, NV Energy, PSEG Long Island, and Xcel Energy will participate in the conference.

Bidgely's chief executive officer, Abhay Gupta, highlighted that their technologies have been developed in collaboration with utilities, demonstrating that enterprise-wide AI can be both secure and scalable amid increasing grid pressures. Each year, the company showcases the latest advancements in its AI and machine learning platform technology.

The conference will feature new agentic AI capabilities, focusing on turning smart meter signals into personalized customer interactions on a large scale. Sessions will address practical deployment strategies, operational trade-offs, and scaling AI within regulated utility environments, with topics including affordability, grid intelligence, electrification planning, and enterprise AI integration.

Speakers from utilities and research organizations, such as International Data Corporation, will provide insights into breaking down data silos, advancing data-driven innovation, and building more resilient energy infrastructure. Bidgely notes that the event underscores the growing momentum behind purpose-built AI solutions as utilities navigate rising costs, regulatory complexity, and energy transition demands.
