Kuching: The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) has announced its plans to publish a coffee table book dedicated to the Yang Dipertua Negeri of Sarawak, Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar. The announcement was made during a recent courtesy call by Bernama's top management at the Astana Negeri, where they met with Wan Junaidi and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi. Leading the Bernama delegation were chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai and chief executive officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting lasted for an hour and included discussions about several books authored by Wan Junaidi. Among these was 'Evolusi Parlimen dan Evolusi Speaker Parlimen Malaysia Edisi Ketiga', set to be published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka on January 15, 2024. The upcoming coffee table book, titled 'The 365 Days in Astana: Kisah dan Potret Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar', aims to provide more than just a visual journey through his tenure. It will offer a narrative that highlights Wan Junaidi's responsibilities, sense of duty, and dedication.

Wan Junaidi's literary works also include 'A Policeman', which details his experiences during operations against the North Kalimantan Communist Party in Miri, Sibu, and Kapit. This book reflects his patriotism and service with the Police Field Force during a challenging period for Malaysia.

The meeting was also attended by Bernama editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, head of Management Services and Finance Sharifah Zaini Syed Zain, head of Commercial Department Mastura Hassan, Photo Marketing manager Fariz Rizal Mardzri, and Sarawak bureau chief Ammar Syafiq Hamzah.
