Kuala lumpur: Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd today introduced Ar-Rahnu BIZ, a new shariah-compliant financing product designed specifically for registered companies (Sdn Bhd and enterprises) seeking quick access to capital of up to RM5 million, secured with gold as collateral.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the bank stated that Ar-Rahnu BIZ is part of its ongoing efforts to empower local entrepreneurs through flexible, secure, and shariah-compliant financial solutions. The initiative aligns with the bank’s aspiration to expand financial literacy, support community business continuity, and uphold its mission to build a better life together.

Bank Muamalat also celebrated the main winners of the ‘Gadai Emas Menang Emas 2.0’ (GEME 2.0) campaign at a prize-giving ceremony held at its Sungai Petani, Kedah, branch. The campaign, which ran from March 1 to December 31, 2024, generated over RM40 million in revenue and recorded total financing of RM811 million, reflecting strong customer confidence in the Ar-Rahnu product.

Three grand prize winners received a total of RM200,000 worth of gold jewelry, presented by Bank Muamalat’s retail banking director, Mohammad Zalman Jalil. He emphasized that GEME 2.0 proves Ar-Rahnu is not merely a financial instrument, but a legitimate, immediate, and ethical form of support.

Following the overwhelming response to GEME 2.0, Bank Muamalat has officially announced the launch of GEME 3.0, which runs from March 1 to December 31, 2025, offering a total of RM320,000 worth of gold prizes to be won.
