Balanced Development Nurtures Healthy Living, Stronger Community Ties – Dr Zaliha

Kuala lumpur: Balanced physical and community development is key to creating a healthy and united society in the Federal Territories, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa. She emphasized the importance of organizing programs that promote an active lifestyle, strengthen social ties, and foster unity in the city.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dr Zaliha highlighted the significance of the 2025 Federal Territory Minister’s Cup Netball Championship in achieving these goals. The event, held at IWK Eco Park, Bangsar, was inaugurated by Dr Zaliha and marked by strong sportsmanship. She asserted that such programs are timely and necessary for the development of a healthy community.

Dr Zaliha expressed her admiration for the young talents participating in the championship and urged the Federal Territories Sports Council to recognize their potential and provide them with ample opportunities. Her message underscored the role of sports in nurturing young athletes and enhancing community engagement.

In her post on X, Dr Zaliha congratulated all parties involved in the successful execution of the inaugural tournament and expressed her hope that it would become an eagerly anticipated annual event for the residents of the Federal Territories.
