Auditors and Integrity Officers Deployed Across Government Ministries

Kuala lumpur: The government has implemented a strategy to enhance integrity among civil servants by appointing auditors and integrity officers in all ministries, Deputy Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad announced. This measure aims to monitor and evaluate staff performance within the ministries.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Abdul Rahman emphasized that integrity is regularly discussed in post-Cabinet meetings to ensure that good governance is prioritized within the administration. He stated that every ministry now has dedicated auditors and integrity officers tasked with assessing the performance of civil servants. He affirmed that the initiatives led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim underline the government’s commitment to governance and integrity.

Abdul Rahman shared these remarks during a press conference at the launch of the Congress of Union of Employees in the Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) Triennial Congress held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. Cuepacs president Datuk Dr Adnan Mat was also present at the event.

Addressing the role of the union, Abdul Rahman described Cuepacs as a crucial intermediary between civil servants and the government. He noted that Cuepacs plays a central role in the operations of the civil service, adeptly balancing the needs of its members with governmental priorities.
