Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) has retained its position as the world's busiest airport, offering 63.1 million seats across domestic and international services. Capacity at ATL increased by 1% year-on-year and is now broadly in line with pre-pandemic levels.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is gaining ground as it continues to expand its capacity and services. The report highlights that while Atlanta remains at the top, Dubai has shown significant growth and is closing the gap in the global airport rankings. The data reflects the ongoing recovery and growth in the aviation sector as airports strive to return to or exceed pre-pandemic operations.
