Kota kinabalu: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has praised the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, saying it has successfully elevated Malaysia's standing on the international stage while driving the country's economic growth. He highlighted that since taking over the nation's leadership, the Prime Minister has strengthened ties with world leaders, thereby boosting investor confidence in Malaysia.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hajiji reiterated that the Sabah Government under his leadership, formed after the 17th state election, will continue to support and back the Prime Minister's leadership. He made these remarks during his speech at the MADANI breaking-of-fast event with the Prime Minister at Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
Hajiji noted Malaysia's success in hosting the 47th ASEAN Summit last year as an example of the country's accomplishments under Anwar's leadership. He emphasized that the MADANI government's leadership has also succeeded in driving economic growth, with Malaysia recording its highest investment ever at RM426.7 billion last year, marking an 11 percent increase compared to 2022.
