Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today took time to visit three prominent Islamic scholars who are currently in Malaysia. They are Egyptian hadith scholar Al-Fadhil Al-Allamah Al-Muhaddith Syeikh Dr Mustafa al-Nadwi Al-Hasani; world-renowned Quran reciter Al-Fadhil Al-Allamah Al-Muqri' Syeikh Dr Ahmad Isa Al-Ma'sarawy; and grand custodian of the waqf, mosque and maqam of Syeikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani, Al-Fadhil Al-Syeikh Maulana Al-Sayyid Afeefuddin Al-Jailani.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his intentions through a Facebook post, stating that he took the opportunity to enquire about the scholars' well-being, seek their advice and prayers, and express his appreciation for their presence in Malaysia. Anwar highlighted the importance of their visit in promoting Islamic teachings and sharing their knowledge and wisdom.

'Alhamdulillah wa syukrulillah. Amid my busy daily schedule, I had the opportunity to stop by Nasyrul Quran to visit three eminent Islamic scholars who are currently in Malaysia,' Anwar shared. He further wished that the visit by these scholars would bring greater knowledge, blessings, and love for the religion, while strengthening efforts to build a virtuous, knowledgeable, and harmonious society, insya-Allah.
