Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a courtesy call from Singapore’s Minister of Defence Chan Chun Sing at the Parliament Building today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting centered on enhancing cooperation in regional security and defence, aligning with ASEAN’s goals of ensuring peace and stability in Southeast Asia. Anwar conveyed his appreciation for Singapore’s support of the Cambodia-Thailand peace dialogue.

Anwar also took the opportunity to congratulate Singapore on its 60th anniversary of independence. He expressed optimism for the upcoming Malaysia-Singapore Annual Leaders’ Retreat scheduled for December.
