Anaqua: Anaqua, an innovation and intellectual property (IP) management technology and services provider, has announced the acquisition of Patrix, welcoming about 400 IP management software (IPMS) customers into its client community.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anaqua stated that the acquisition further expands its law firm and European presence, building on its 2025 purchase of RightHub as it continues to serve IP professionals across corporations and law firms through continued innovation, expanded service offerings, and global scale.
Anaqua's chief executive officer, Justin Crotty, noted that Patrix has gained the trust of IP professionals over decades, bringing a loyal customer base along with deep IP technology and law firm expertise. Patrix customers will benefit from Anaqua's broader capabilities, including global hosting and security infrastructure, foreign filing, patent and trademark renewals, docketing services, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven workflow tools and analytics.
Patrix founder and majority owner, Carina Roth Schramm, highlighted that both organisations share strong cultural alignment, rooted in a software-led heritage and client-centric philosophy. She expressed confidence that customer needs will continue to be met in the future.
Patrix's Patricia platform has served its law firm-centric customer base for 30 years and is currently utilized by nearly 400 customers, including some of the world's largest IP law firms. Anaqua confirmed it will continue supporting and developing the Patricia product roadmap while integrating selected features into its broader platform. Customers will retain access to existing services, including renewals, without interruption.
Additionally, Anaqua is offering Patrix clients optional access to its AI-native platform as their needs evolve, providing flexibility alongside continued support for current systems.
