Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar today extended their congratulations to the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, in conjunction with His Royal Highness's 83rd birthday celebration.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, in a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid prayed for Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin to always be blessed with mercy and long-lasting good health. He expressed his wishes for the Raja to remain in peace and under the protection of Allah.

Meanwhile, Shamsul Azri also expressed gratitude for the Tuanku's gracious conferment of the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Perlis (S.P.M.P.), noting the significance it carries for him and the entire civil service. He prayed for the continued good health and prosperity of the Raja, Her Royal Highness the Raja Perempuan of Perlis, and the entire Royal Family. Shamsul Azri also hoped for the Raja to continue ruling the state of Perlis with justice and fairness.
