Kuala Lumpur: Any act or statement that could threaten harmony between races and religions in the country is unacceptable and cannot be compromised with, National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang stated.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Aaron emphasized that Malaysians, as citizens of a multiracial country, must nurture prosperity and peace by avoiding any statement or act that could offend the sensitivities of any group. He made these remarks in response to a viral social media post regarding a corn seller’s sales announcement containing racial sentiments.

Datuk Aaron highlighted the importance of upholding the Rukun Negara as a daily practice, specifically the principle of Courtesy and Morality, to build mutual respect and understanding among Malaysians. He urged everyone to strengthen national unity by respecting existing differences and prioritizing unity for the common good.
