Please refer to the official NDP website,, for the routes taken by the mobile column.  The roads used by the mobile column will be closed on a rolling basis and will reopen to traffic once the column passes.  Motorists are advised to avoid using these roads between 9.30am and 1.20pm on 9 August 2020, and to plan their journey early as traffic is expected to be slow moving along the mobile column routes and the peripheral roads.

During the rolling road closures, access will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles. Auxiliary police officers and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) marshals will be deployed at the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists. Those travelling to these affected areas are strongly advised to use public transport.

Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking indiscriminately and/or causing obstruction may be towed.

The public can view and enjoy the NDP2020 activities from home. In light of the COVID-19 situation, and to manage crowds and ensure safe distancing, access to the areas where activities will be held, will be limited. Members of the public who view the activities at public spaces are to wear masks, remain in groups of five and less, and maintain one metre safe distancing. SAF, SPF and AETOS personnel, volunteers from the People’s Association, safe distancing ambassadors and safe distancing enforcement officers, and police officers will be present on-site to guide the public.
