Kuantan: A total of 2,000 students from 179 tahfiz institutions across Pahang came together to participate in the Pahang Huffaz Gathering 3.0 Palestine Solidarity Programme. This event was held in conjunction with the presentation of the Pahang Prosperous Initiative (IMP) 2025 to the Religious Cluster.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Pahang State Islamic Religious Affairs, Rural Development and Orang Asli Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Seri Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad highlighted that the state government provided RM2,000 in aid to each of the 179 institutions. Additionally, RM100 was allocated for each participating student to support their involvement in the programme.
Syed Ibrahim expressed that for students who could not attend the event, the state government plans to organize a special event or extend invitations to the department to ensure everyone benefits from the initiative. He shared these insights at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Mustain Billah Mosque.
The programme was not only a channel for distributing aid to tahfiz students but also a demonstration of the state’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Syed Ibrahim emphasized that the cooperation from all tahfiz institutions in Pahang was commendable. The event served as a platform to convey unwavering support for the Palestinians through prayers and supplications.
