Shah alam: The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today conferred Selangor medals on 151 recipients in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ceremony witnessed a diverse array of awards being distributed. One recipient was honored with the Pingat Kecemerlangan Sukan Selangor (P.K.S), recognizing excellence in sports. Furthermore, 21 individuals received the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (P.P.T), while 26 others were awarded the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang Selangor (P.P.C.) medals for their distinguished service.
In addition, the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (P.J.K.) was conferred upon 87 individuals, and 16 recipients were awarded the Pingat Perkhidmatan Selangor (P.P.S.) medals. These honors highlight the contributions and services rendered by individuals across various sectors.
The second day of the investiture ceremony took place at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz, with honorees hailing from the districts of Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam, and Sepang.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Selangor State Assembly Speaker Lau Weng San, State Secretary Datuk Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin, State Legal Adviser Mohamad Onn Abd Aziz, State Financial Officer Datuk Dr Haniff Zainal Abidin, State Rural Development, Unity and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Rizam Ismail, and State Women's Development and Social Welfare Committee chairman Anfaal Saari.
