According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin stated that the SINAR programme, announced in June, offers financing and additional business support to MSMEs. The initiative aims to assist businesses impacted by global crises, particularly disruptions in supply chains and increased operational costs.

These include RM30 million for the Soft Financing Scheme for MSMEs, with RM7.12 million in loans approved for eight enterprises. Additionally, the MSME Capacity and Capability Enhancement Scheme has approved RM8.88 million in loans for 18 MSMEs. A 50 percent discount on MSME Status Certificates has benefited 971 enterprises and will remain available until December 31, 2026, facilitating official status confirmation and access to entrepreneurial support.
For Budget 2027, RM67.9 billion has been allocated for MSME development, focusing on financing, market access expansion, human capital development, and digitalization. SME Corp Malaysia has received RM137 million for next year's MSME development programmes, marking a 17 percent increase from 2026.
