Kuala Lampur:Zetrix AI Bhd is actively engaged in discussions to resolve issues with the Road Transport Department (JPJ), following the temporary suspension of its services to the department effective today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zetrix AI confirmed in a stock exchange filing that JPJ services would be temporarily suspended starting October 5, 2026. On October 2, JPJ announced the suspension of services provided by MyEG Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Bhd under the MYEG Group as its collection agents, effective from 12.01 am on October 5.
Zetrix AI stated it would provide further announcements on any material developments. This clarification was issued following a news article in The Edge Malaysia and a notice from JPJ, both dated October 2, 2026.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli explained that the suspension decision was made after evaluating the compliance with the terms and conditions of their agreements, highlighting obligations that were either unfulfilled or unresolved. Despite the suspension, all JPJ services previously available through MYEG Group channels would be halted, but the department's services would continue through official and alternative channels.
