Zeitview Raises US$60 Million to Boost Visual AI for Critical Infrastructure

Los Angeles: Zeitview, the leader in visual artificial intelligence (AI) for critical infrastructure, has announced a capital raise of US$60 million led by Climate Investment, with participation from existing investors. (US$1=RM4.41)

According to BERNAMA News Agency, current investors in Zeitview include Valor Equity Partners, Union Square Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Euclidean Capital, Energy Transition Ventures, Hearst Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Zeitview Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dan Burton, stated that the funding will enable the company to enhance its Visual AI capabilities and increase investment in its Insights software platform, benefiting customers who manage critical infrastructure assets.

Patrick Yip, Climate Investment’s Managing Director and Head of Growth Equity, highlighted the company’s commitment to decarbonisation technologies. He emphasized Zeitview’s potential to expand its platform across existing markets and new territories, supported by a global network of investors.

Additionally, Mike Bishop, Investment Director at Climate Investment, will join Zeitview’s Board of Directors, as mentioned in a statement.

Zeitview’s software offers improvements in inspection times and cost requirements, addressing challenges such as skilled labour shortages and increased inspection frequencies. Unlike providers focused on single asset classes, Zeitview’s platform caters to multiple critical infrastructure categories, including solar, wind, utilities, properties, and telecom, making it a comprehensive partner for asset owners across different sectors.

In response to the growing global demand for reliable energy, communication, and facility infrastructure, Zeitview is dedicated to providing enterprises with visual AI solutions to improve asset resilience and efficiency.

Having more than doubled its infrastructure inspections to 200,000 assets across 80 countries in 2024, Zeitview has proven its capacity to manage expansive portfolios of critical infrastructure assets.
