Kuala Lampur:YYForce Inc, a technology-driven workforce solutions and integrated facility management firm, has inaugurated its Robotics Training, Data and Experience Center in Singapore. This facility is designed to enhance the training of humanoid robots, facilitate operational data collection, conduct workflow testing, and provide customer demonstrations.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the center aims to explore robotics applications in various sectors, including hospitality, cleaning, security, delivery, and facility management. YYForce leverages its current workforce and facility management operations to assess practical applications for its customers.
Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YYForce, stated that the center offers a specialized environment for the training of humanoid robots, the collection of operational data, and the assessment of service robots prior to their deployment. The company evaluates each application concerning performance and cost requirements.
The facility also supports YYForce's exploration of Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS), robot leasing, and managed robotic services as potential avenues for recurring revenue. It includes simulated service environments for the training and evaluation of humanoid robots in various workflows, such as hotel housekeeping, restroom cleaning, and hospitality support, as well as testing human-robot collaboration.
Through continuous training and testing, YYForce gathers operational data on aspects such as navigation, movement, object interaction, task execution, and environmental conditions. These evaluations aim to refine robotic performance and adapt workflows to specific service environments, rather than establishing full autonomy of humanoid robots at this stage.
The center features various robotic systems including commercial cleaning robots, delivery robots, autonomous security and surveillance robots, and more. A live Security Command Centre illustrates the integration of robotic patrol capabilities with surveillance systems, sensors, and monitoring.
YYForce envisions the center as a crucial step towards commercializing robotic solutions, from training and data collection to workflow testing, customer demonstrations, proofs of concept, and eventual deployment in diverse settings like hotels, commercial buildings, and warehouses.
The company is considering commercial models that combine robot access with support services such as deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and human assistance. Proposed RaaS and leasing options would enable customers to utilize robotics without needing to purchase the hardware outright.
This initiative aligns with YYForce's 2030 vision of evolving into a Future Workforce Solutions Provider by integrating human talent, artificial intelligence, humanoid robots, and specialized autonomous systems, while human workers continue to perform tasks requiring judgment, communication, and adaptability.
