Kuala lumpur: YTL AI Labs today launched ILMU Claw, enabling Malaysian users, developers, and enterprises to build autonomous artificial intelligence (AI) agents, hosted entirely on Malaysian infrastructure through the secure YTL AI Cloud.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the YTL Power International Bhd subsidiary highlighted the growing significance of AI agents in 2026's technology landscape. OpenClaw, an open-source project, has gained popularity by making AI agent creation accessible without requiring coding or complex setups. ILMU Claw builds on this momentum, allowing users to create autonomous AI agents with simple prompts, removing the need for managing complex orchestration.
ILMU Claw offers practical applications for both individuals and businesses. Everyday users can build agents for tasks like trip planning and email management, while businesses can utilize them for customer support and workflow automation. The tool is powered by ILMU-Nemo-Nano, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, ensuring accessibility while catering to enterprise needs.
YTL AI Labs emphasized enhanced security and policy controls for enterprise deployments through the NVIDIA reference stack, allowing Malaysian developers and enterprises to access advanced agentic capabilities on local infrastructure. Until now, such capabilities required routing data through foreign infrastructure.
ILMU Claw joins the ILMU product family, which includes ILMUchat, a conversational AI currently in public beta. ILMU Claw plans are now available for enthusiasts, developers, startups, and enterprises, with 800 seats available at launch. Interested parties can sign up at console.ilmu.ai.
Foong Chee Mun, CEO of YTL AI Labs, expressed excitement about providing Malaysians world-class AI capabilities on home soil, marking ILMU Claw as a pivotal step for Malaysians to leverage these capabilities efficiently.
