Kuala lumpur: The Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) today donated smart televisions and eyeglasses to schools and selected students in Pasir Gudang to strengthen educational development and safeguard students' welfare.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, a post on the official Facebook page of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar detailed that the contribution involved the handing over of 10 units of 75-inch smart televisions to 10 schools to support digital learning in classrooms.
'In addition, 2,000 students from B40 families under the Pasir Gudang District Education Office also received eyeglasses through a strategic collaboration programme with Season Optical,' the post read.
The contributions were handed over by YSIJ Senior Manager Shah Reza Md Kanafe to Johor State Education Department Senior Principal Assistant Director Mohd Jefferin Saat and Pasir Gudang District Education Officer Razali Tamadi.
The handover ceremony was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Johor Jaya 3 here and was also attended by Season Optical Managing Director Sally Loh.
