YSIJ Donates Food Baskets To 1,000 Families In Labis, Segamat

Labis: The Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) today donated food baskets to 1,000 families in Labis and Segamat today. The food baskets contained various basic necessities such as rice, sugar, flour, and cooking oil.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this generous act was shared through a post on His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia’s official Facebook page. Several photographs of the handover ceremony were also uploaded, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to aiding the local community.

The foundation’s charitable and community efforts extended beyond food donations. They also included the donation of eight units of Smart TVs to the Segamat District Education Office for use in selected schools within the district. This initiative aims to enhance educational resources and support learning for students in the area.

YSIJ Chief Executive Officer Mohd Anizam Jamian personally handed over the donations in ceremonies held at the Segamat District Office and Labis District Council Hall. The donations were received by Segamat district officer Mohd Ezzudin Sanusi and the involved recipients, marking a significant contribution to the community’s welfare and development efforts.
