Kuala lumpur: YoYi Malaysia, a strategic parcel collection service partner of J and T Express Malaysia, has announced its collaboration with TikTok Shop Malaysia to pilot a self-collection service initiative in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, and Johor.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the collaboration aims to support ongoing efforts to enhance last-mile fulfillment efficiency and customer convenience, with plans to expand the service nationwide in the near future. Leo Wang, manager of YoYi Malaysia, emphasized the significance of the Self-Collection service as a step forward in meeting consumer expectations for convenience and autonomy. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to strengthening last-mile capabilities within the ecosystem.
Leo Wang also mentioned that YoYi Malaysia plans to expand its network to over 7,000 locations by the end of this year and increase its parcel locker deployment to more than 30 units. This expansion aims to fortify its multi-tier last-mile delivery ecosystem further.
The pilot service enables shoppers on TikTok Shop Malaysia to select a self-collection option at checkout, choose a nearby YoYi Malaysia or parcel locker, and receive pickup notifications upon parcel arrival. This service allows customers to enjoy lower delivery fees while improving last-mile delivery efficiency and flexibility.
Currently, YoYi Malaysia has established a nationwide network of approximately 3,000 Self-Collection Points and 10 Parcel Locker units as part of its last-mile delivery ecosystem. Moving forward, YoYi Malaysia and TikTok Shop Malaysia, along with ecosystem partners, will continue to refine the self-collection network and system capabilities. This includes expanding coverage, improving pickup efficiency, and enhancing the digital user experience to support the evolving needs of the e-commerce logistics landscape.
