Kuala Lumpur:Yayasan PETRONAS has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Hajah Shariah Nelly Francis, will conclude her tenure on October 31, 2026, after serving the Foundation for six years.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, during her leadership, Shariah Nelly has bolstered Yayasan PETRONAS' role as the social impact arm of PETRONAS. She has steered the Foundation through a phase of increased strategic focus, enhanced governance, and more outcome-oriented delivery.

Shariah Nelly was instrumental in developing the Foundation’s Theory of Change framework. This framework has been critical in aligning programs and partnerships around the Foundation's three primary pillars Education, Community Wellbeing and Development, and Environment. Her initiatives have reinforced the Foundation's commitment to generating positive and sustainable outcomes for communities across Malaysia.
