Kuantan: Yayasan Pahang Commercial Centre (YPCC) is set to become a consistent revenue stream for Yayasan Pahang, with expectations of generating approximately RM4.8 million annually from rental income, according to Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Menteri Besar highlighted that the revenue is a direct result of the centre's development, alongside indirect benefits such as improved efficiency for consumers. "While there is revenue, the overall total remains undetermined. Rental yields alone contribute about RM4.8 million each year," he stated to reporters during the official launch of YPCC Tanjung Lumpur.

The inauguration event also featured the signing of eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Yayasan Pahang and associated companies. Wan Rosdy elaborated on the 24.8-acre commercial centre's offerings, emphasizing its capacity to centralize various facilities and services, simplifying consumer access to essentials.

The YPCC integrates three primary components: the Commercial Zone, Automotive Zone, and RIMBUN, which collectively include retail, automotive, food and beverage, services, and lifestyle sectors. Regarding the potential for additional company participation, Wan Rosdy explained that each application would undergo evaluation based on predetermined studies and criteria to ensure strategic development of the YPCC.
