YADIM Plans 500 Programmes for National Dakwah Initiative by 2026

Putrajaya:The Malaysian Islamic Dakwah Foundation (YADIM) has announced its goal to implement 500 programmes under the National Dakwah Programme (PDN) 2026, targeting at least 10,000 participants. The initiative aims to promote decorum, social harmony, and the use of technology in disseminating dakwah messages.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, stated that PDN 2026, under the theme "Membangun Adab, Membina Negara" (Building Decorum, Building the Nation), will be conducted nationwide from October 1 to December 31. The programme will utilize both physical and digital platforms to adapt dakwah approaches to contemporary societal needs and issues.

The programme is structured around five core pillars Family Decorum and Human Development, Social Decorum and Harmony, Leadership and Nationhood Decorum, Knowledge and Intellectual Decorum, and Digital and Social Media Decorum. These pillars are designed to strengthen moral values and ensure effective communication of dakwah messages through modern channels.

In related news, Zulkifli revealed that Malaysia will be hosting the 27th International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) Conference in Putrajaya from late November to December 3. This event will bring together scholars from 57 member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), marking a significant recognition for Malaysia.
