Xiong’an Forum Highlights Computing Power Development

Kuala lumpur: The 2026 Xiong'an Forum of China Computational Power Conference was held at the Langfang Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Innovation and Application Center, bringing together representatives from government, industry, academia, research and application sectors to discuss innovation in the computing power industry.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the forum, themed "Future Industries Empowering the Future City", saw the launch of the Xiong'an International Computing Power Integrated Scheduling Center and the establishment of the Xiong'an Computing Power Alliance. The event also unveiled a first batch of new computing power products, typical application scenarios for computing power-enabled Future City development, and an integrated construction system for computing-network convergence.

Industry experts and corporate technical leaders engaged in discussions on digital infrastructure development, scenario-based intelligent applications, integrated computing, network and security operations, and intelligent infrastructure. They shared technological developments and industry practices while exploring applications of computing power in the development of the Future City.

Xiong'an New Area has developed a "city-level" computing system centered on the Xiong'an Urban Computing Center. Its Xiong'an International Computing Power Integrated Scheduling Platform connects 44 computing resource pools across 19 provinces, covering eight national computing power hubs: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Chengdu-Chongqing, Gansu, and Ningxia.

The platform collaborates with national computing power interconnection regional nodes to aggregate and intelligently schedule computing resources, aiming to establish a computing power hub serving Hebei, extending nationwide and connecting internationally.
